Hello!

This is the online audio portfolio of Josh Fairhead. Below is a written summary of my experience although the portfolio section is most likely to be of interest with detailed examples of previous work. You can also download a CV (.pdf) or jump to the contact page by clicking the relevant links.

Experience

Recording/Mix Engineer
• Several years experience working with Pro Tools
• Logic 101 certification and can use it and other applications such as MaxMSP to a proficient level.
• Recent work includes: Irish Chamber Orchestra, Royal British Legion Youth Band of Brentwood, Thames Valley Philharmonia, Neon Flea Circus Fistful of I.O.Us, Sons of Gingerbread, SOAS Cuban Big Band. Some of these are available as audio examples on my portfolio page.

Live Sound
• Currently working for Hire Frequencies
• Freelance as a front of house engineer on the main stage at Murphy’s Stout Cork X festival along with several independent Irish music festivals such as Knokinstocan, Solas and Skyfest  (occasionally filling in as a stage manager).
•Live recording of artists such as Pete Molinari, Niwel Tsumbu, Odessa and The Cujo Family. Please download a Live Sound CV for more details.

• ‘Elephants Dream‘ by the blender foundation – Recreation of the post production and sound effects.

I’m  currently studying at post-graduate level attending a part-time MA in Audio Technology on a scholarship at the London College of Music/University of West London.
